I'm looking into buying a Russian Brilliant.. I checked the Better Business Bureaus and it seems legit..

How do I know if these rings will look good/great when compared to buying a real diamon..

My future fiance is the one that suggest I get one as she has heard about them.. I am however skeptical of one buying synthetic diamond and 2 of buying from an online source.

I'm looking at specifically buying a 1.5 carrot White coloer Leucita collection with platinum band.. it's just under 2k.. Any feed back appreciated

any man made gemstone can easily look better than a real diamond :-P unless u spend an arm or a leg on the top quality diamonds that ppl normally can't afford.

go for it and if u don't like it, u can always return it :D

I have a necklace with a russian brilliant, it is nice, but I also have my wedding set in moissanite. I would reccomend you check into that. It is more brilliant than a russian, and they have a lifetime warrenty. I love mine and wouldn't trade them for anything, not even real diamonds!

Russian Brilliants Share the identical optical, chemical, and physical properies of natural diamonds. Detection of synthetic diamond is very difficult. Testing procedures involve evaluation of magnetic properties, fluorescence patterns and the identification of diagnostic inclusions. They are hand-cut and come in different shapes and sizes. With their brilliance and fire they possess many of the same characteristics and optical properties of a natural diamond. They are very hard and will cut glass

I am have a 2ct center Russian with 3/4ct on each side. My ring was custom made. People go crazy over it. I am having a little problem with the band though. I am going to contact customer service tomorrow, will let you know how it goes. We paid around 3,500 for it, and received it around 2 months ago. Bob is very helpful and a very nice man to talk to. We researched a lot of different options before buying a Russian, and except for the little problem, I would reccomend them to anyone.

What material is Russian Star and/or Brilliant? Is it Moissanite or CZ? Or is it something else all together?

i don't think it's moissanite, it's probably cz or something similar to cz, and is hand-cut for maximum fire

I looked at www.bbb.org (Better Business Bureau) and russianbrilliant.net had 2 complaints about it. Try moissanite, xxx. It has no complaints and i got a ring from there that is gorgeous. No one can tell!

Russian Brilliants is a good company. They have good/great customer service and a quality stones. They do custom rings but you have to be VERY clear with your expectations and make SURE they understand. I sent them a picture of a ring, they said they could do it exactly like the picture with the modifications I asked for but then it didn't turn out that way. However the ring is still beautiful!

I forgot to add that when I compared my real 2.25 carat stone to the RBs I couldn't tell a difference except that the RB was colorless (my stone was an I in color).

My daughter had a ring made at Russian Brilliants.com. It is stunningly beautiful. I'm interested in having a ring made also. I've been told that DiamondNexusLabs.com is a new diamond look alike that is even better than the RB. Is anyone familiar with them? A RB is a high quality CZ. What The Nexus Labs produce are differsent than a CZ and do not fade over time. They have a life time quarantee.
